User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007
Mozilla stops responding when a pdf file is opened in a new tab and other tabs
are currently open. When opening the pdf in a new window or the same tab
everything works fine. When AcroReader32 is already in your list of processes it
works also fine. I'm using Mozilla 1.5 and Acrobat Reader 5.1.0 and I have also
Acrobat 5 installed. Same behavior also with Mozilla 1.4. Reproduceable with
most PDF's, not only the one listed above. I'm not quite sure if it is with all.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mozilla
2. Search in google for knowledge sharing transfer
3. Make sure AcroReader32 is not in your list of processes in Taskmanager
4. Click on second link (same as provided in URL) with Control pressed
Actual Results:
Mozilla has CPU usage of 99 %. AcroReader32 appears in the processes in the
Taskmanager. Mozilla stops responding.
Expected Results:
Acrobat Reader Plugin should be loaded and display the pdf file
Reported behavior seems to be different to bugs 212067 and 224429.

I'm running Mozilla 1.6a (previously 1.5) and just tried my Acrobat plug-in - no
crash (on a W2KPRO v5.00 Build 2195, Dell Inspiron 4000 platform). HOWEVER, the
plug-in was already installed with Moz1.5.
I DO recall a crash occurring when I added the Acrobat plug in to Moz1.5 or
possibly an earlier version. I'm not sure I filed a bug report for it, I won't
file now.
I wonder if the crash occurred when simply running Acrobat plug or during the
install (I believe I experienced a crash during the INSTALL of the plug-in in an
earlier version of Moz.).

This issue has been resolved in Mozilla 1.6. Hopefully it's not again in in 1.7
as I haven't installed it yet ;o)
