my ldap queries are getting limited to 100 hits - I'll try changing the pref and
see if that takes effect.

I changed the pref to 20 and it limited the auto complete hits to 20, as did the
explicit search window. I think this is wfm.

bienvenu: this bug mentions the addressbook search, not the autocomplete search.
 It may go through a different code path.

Scott, are you still having problems with this? note that you have to restart to make the max hits take effect (if I remember correctly).

Scott never responded to this. I've not seen this to be a problem and we've recently fixed the max hits taking effect change on trunk. Therefore marking WFM, I'm sure Scott can reopen if its still a problem.
