When starting Thunderbird with messages in the Unsent messages folder,
Thunderbird does not ask whether to send these messages. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write some messages when offline.
2. Quit Thunderbird.
3. Start Thunderbird.
Actual Results:  
Thunderbird starts always in online mode, but does not ask whether to send the
Unsent messages.

Expected Results:  
Thunderbird should popup the question whether to send the Unsent messages,
identical to when going online.
Problem has been fixed for almost a year now!
