in m12 when i single click on "bookmarks" from the list at the top of the page the bookmarks window opens fine. i single click open a category. when i single click a bookmark, nothing at all happens. when i double click the bookmark two new browser windows are opened with identical urls. ALSO. when clicked open the bookmark window doesn't close after use. it stays open as a separate screen. is this a feature or a bug?
Priority: P3 → P1
Summary: single click on bookmark does nothing, double click opens 2 → Double click on bookmark opens two windows
Target Milestone: M13
I just ran into a problem just like the one you describe. The problem I see is with the "unknown file type" dialog. Go to http://www.tivo.com/linux and look for the link called README. When you single click on this link, it opens the "unknown file type" dialog box after a couple of seconds. The catch here is that if you double click on the link, two dialogs will open. Two windows will also open if you click, wait a second or two (assume no window has shown up and the link has not changed color while you are waiting) and then click again.

I'm 100% sure what the bug was here but as I see no wierdness related to single/double-clicking bookmarks in any context. I'm going to go ahead and mark this VERIFIED with the 2000011108 build. dejong, I believe the issue you raise, is and deserves to be a seperate bug.
