Details

When a page with Animated GIF it's loaded, the browser keeps making call to the animated GIFs everytime the loop finishes. I am not sure what is causin it, but if you go through any webpage with GIFs and you use a proxy or packet sniffer, you will see that the browser keeps making requests for the GIF although the page and all GIFs have finished loading completely. This can cause problems with servers, as they will get a lot of extra calls for nothing, as also cause problems with Advertising industry on the web, as there will be multiple imressions being counted, while the user really saw it once.
