Occasionally the browser crashes for no apparent reason, usually when I add a
tab, delete a tab, or change tabs.

1. Add a tab
2. Delete a tab
3. Change tabs

Actual Results:
Occasionally crashes.

Expected Results:
Not crashed.

Nothing much.
Hi Mike, are you using any special tab extensions or themes? Also, have you
tried temporarily removing your user profile and restarting with a fresh profile?
It is pretty much a clean install.
If it's not your user profile or any extra extensions or themes, I wonder if
it's the version of your browser. It's actually not a build I'm familiar with,
but that's not saying much :) Have you tried a more recent one?
I downloaded this one two days ago. I might download a new version, but the
first version I had had the same problem.
Mike, are you still reading mail for this bug? If so, are you still getting
sporadic crashes?
Yes, I am.
I am also using FireFox.
Are there any pages that you can reproduce it on consistently?
No... it just crashes occasionally.
Out of interest, they're not all pages with Hebrew text, are they? I noticed a
bug today involving a Javascript ticker that was far worse when Hebrew text was
present. CPU usage shot right up and slowed everything down, especially when
changing tabs.
As of Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040307
Firefox/0.8.0+ it WFM.
Not enough information to keep this bug open.

Mike, are you still reading mail for this bug? If so, can you confirm that the
crashing problem is gone in recent builds? If not, is it possible it's only
crashing on login pages, like bug 226317?

P.S. Just in case you try this, please don't reply by email, as your reply goes
nowhere. There's currently a bug that stops the mail daemon from bouncing your
email and letting you know that, so you'd have no idea that it hadn't gone through.
No hebrew text. It crashed recently as well.

Seriously ... we need more info ....
Lots of ppl uses firefox specialy for tab browsing and none of them have
sporadic crashes while adding deleter or closing tabs.
This bug is the same as "Micrososft Windows crashes when I move my mouse" ....

Just to double-check:

- If you go to Tools->Options->Extensions, is the list blank?
- If you go to Tools->Options->Themes, does it list Firebird(default) and
nothing else?
- If you type "about:plugins" into the location bar, can you provide us with a
list of plugins (and preferably versions)?
- Also please check that it's not only happening when you have a log-in page
open, as in bug 226317. In that bug, the focus has to be in the login-name box
at the time of the crash.
