Severity: normal → critical
Could not reproduce on M12 or 1999122208. Anyone wanna mark this WORKSFORME?
the assertion error I've got is "no script global object: 'mScriptGlobalObject != nsnull', file ....\nsXULDocument.cpp, line 4971" If the pop up is not triggered, one can reproduce the same error (I suppose) by going to view->page source for any web page.

Was able to crash (and get a crash log) with build 1999122608 on WinNT SP5 - not exactly the same cirmustances though. Do this, step by step, to get it: 0) Delete the cookies.txt file in Users50/<Your Profile> directory. 1) Go to http://www.zdnet.com. 2) Under 'Business & Tech', click on the link named 'Linux'. (The first two steps are euivalent to the URL: http://www.zdnet.com/enterprise/linux/?chkpt=zdhpdir0201) 3) A dialog box should crop up asking about some survey. Click 'Cancel'. This should result in a crash. Other Info: ----------- This bug is probably related to bug 22290. This bug is there in M12 as well. Marking this bug [CRASH]. See attached crash log below (Dr.Watson) for details.

This is fine on WinNT 2000010908. I think this was a problem fixed very quickly after the M12 release.
