Can you do a clean install with a fresh profile and disable all extensions?

Works for me on 20031109 build on WinXP. Please try to reinstall, create a fresh profile (delete the old .phoenix-folder) and try iz without any additional extensions and themes.

Please all note that the problem is reported for Linux, not Windows! I will try to delete the phoenix folder and try again. But I have no extensions installed nor any themes.

I have isolated the problem on the GTK2/XFT version for Linux. The problem does not occur when using the other version.

I have finally pinpointed the cause of this bug. It is (at least in this case) due to the font named 'lucida sans unicode' which is a composed name (multiple words). This makes Firebird crashes. I have tried with quotes " or ' . Same result. It just won't take it. This should be fixed quickly now. Could you confirm. Thanks

This is working fine on my system. Odds are it's a dup of one of the mostfreq xft bugs. What distro and version are you running firebird on?

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
