Description

14 years ago
User-Agent:       Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322)
Build Identifier:

I use Movable Type to manage my organization's website (www.fsindical.org.br).

On the "create new post" windows, Mozilla doesn't show three image buttons -
BOLD, ITALIC and UNDERLINE - and the keybord shortcuts for them don't work
(CTRL + SHIFT + B, U and I).

Please, that's the only reason I don't use Mozilla neither Firebird as my
primary browsers (and I like Firebird very mych). Solve this problem, then I
can use them.

Thank you very much,

Átila Cavalcante

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. It's easy: just access the page.

Expected Results:
Show the buttons and allow the keybord shortcuts work.

So, try this address (that's the same system and problem):

http://www.interligados.net/cgi-local/blog/mt.cgi

User: bugzilla
Password: test

After that, click on "New Entry" link and look at the buttons (in both
Internet Explorer and Mozilla). You'll see what happens.

Good luck (and, please, don't destroy my blog! :o)

if (document.selection) {
  // create buttons and shortcut key listeners using JS
}

"document.selection" is an IE-ism that Mozilla does not support. MT could use
window.getSelection() to get an equivalent selection object in Mozilla....
