I wanted to download the Fedora Core ISOs, I cleared my Windows machine to have
plenty of spare disc space, about 1100Mb, but I know I'd need to download and
burn them one at a time. I started the download, went away, and came back to
find it partly done, giving (I'm afraid I didn't note it exactly) an error about
there not being enough disc space. I now have a 562Mb yarrow...iso file and
562Mb free disc space. The site concerned doesn't do chunked downloads but does
respond with a correct Content-Length: so something's gone awry here.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Have less then twice as much disc space as you need to download something
2.Try to download something
3.

Actual Results:
Partial download, error about not enough disc, leaving exactly the same amount
of free space as the size of the partial download

Expected Results:
Completed the download, I had plenty of available disc space

My Windows XP runs on only one partition and that's what I was saving to. I'm
reporting this as major since (i) downloads failing pointlessly after several
hours of waiting when you've over a gig of disc free is nuts, and (ii) anything
that stops me or anyone else getting Linux installed is clearly serious ;-)

I do already have Red Hat 7.2 on another box, and it's the one due for the
upgrade to Fedora, and I would be using it only it doesn't have a CD writer, and
Gentoo on another, and I'm not entirely clueless, so if there's any additional
information I can provide - save wasting 500Mb of my or anyone else's bandwidth
to try this again - I'd be delighted to help.
