The JIS Kuten-Code conversion takes a very long time on Mozilla on the first
try. This problem does not occur with Netscape Communicator on AIX. Reproduced
in both the AIX IM and Wnn7 IM.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Launch Editor (mozilla -edit).
2) Enter Ctrl + F1 key. A code input dialog will appear.
3) Input a JIS Kuten code (e.g. 1301, 11525).
4) The first time you do this, a response will take a very long time
(approximately 1 minute). After the initial delay, addition Kuten code
conversions will take much less time.

JIS Code or Shift-JIS Code do not seem to have this problem (4444 of JIS Code
and 9191 of Shift-JIS code were converted immediately).

Philip,

I have questions,

- What will happen when you copy&paste a kuten 1301 from other
   apps e.g. gedit to Mozilla? Same problem happens?

- Does this problem happen when you restart Mozilla?

It seems that searching a proper font of kuten 1301 character
takes time.

This problem is no longer reproducable on current AIX builds.
