Hello!
Whenever you visit http://www.tutorials.de/tutorials20961.html (and scroll down,
until "Code: " is displayed in the 3. posting (from Socke)) Mozilla crashes. The
line contains weird characters. I tried that crash several times and other
Linux-Users have the same problem (some with firebird, some with mozilla, ...).
A sidenote: Mozilla does not crash, when the "view source" window is open - strange?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. visit http://www.tutorials.de/tutorials20961.html
2. scroll down
3. enjoy the show

Actual Results:
crash

Expected Results:
display the page / not crash

http://home.c-otto.de/crash.html is the source, if the original gets deleted
Viewing that page (so without CSS and Images from the original page) does not
cause a crash

do you have Microsoft .fon fonts in your fonts directories ? Does deleting (or
archiving) them prevent from crashing ? Could be bug 180309.
My feeling is that page crashes only when scrolling because
of the HTML displaying fonts with "MS Sans Serif".
I'm thinking of sseriff.fon or sserife.fon.

I don't have this font. The online files with *serif* are these:

/usr/share/xine/libxine1/fonts/serif-16.xinefont.gz
/usr/share/xine/libxine1/fonts/serif-20.xinefont.gz
/usr/share/xine/libxine1/fonts/serif-24.xinefont.gz
/usr/share/xine/libxine1/fonts/serif-32.xinefont.gz

And I doubt it is a font-error, because several others with different
mozilla-versions experienced the same crash.
"only files", not online
do you crash using latest pre-1.6 build or the Firebird XFT build ?
This is probably fixed via bug 213734.
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.6/
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firebird/nightly/latest-0.8/
This (see below) is my version at the moment and the bug still exists. Since I
am using Gentoo and the bug is independent from my PC I will not install any
other version.

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031119
Can you get a stack and attach it via "create a new attachment" ?
http://www.mozilla.org/unix/debugging-faq.html

if you're using the standard mozilla startup script, just do
% mozilla -g -d gdb
(gdb) run
[wait for mozilla to crash]
(gdb) bt
(attach the output from "bt" here)
Attached file output of gdb's "bt"
ddd -> open file "mozilla-bin" -> run -> crash -> bt
thanks for the stack, that helps as it's the same as in bug 213734.
Upgrade to 1.6 when it's out for Gentoo and reopen if still crashing.
