The connection was refused when attempting to contact ( Various urls Including the Mozilla Home Page ) I also get the same message when attempting to connect to my mail client. I do have a good internet connection which works well under Win XP and also Red Hat 9 on the same computer . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Sign on to the internet 2.Attempt to access any url 3. Actual Results: I get the above message everytime .Although I can start Internet Explorer and access any url with the same connection. I did however when using Win98 SE on this same computer successfully install and run an older Mozilla build .

I believe this may have been fixed in bug 240759. Please try Mozilla 1.7 RC1 or later. Does that solve the problem?
