User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031110 MultiZilla/1.5.0.3o Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031110 MultiZilla/1.5.0.3o While filling out an addition to a bug report in bugzilla, I copied and pasted some text into the text area. From that point on, the text area would accept no key strokes or edites of any type. I tried a different web page with a form with the same result; no input accepted. I closed Mozilla and opened it again. Went to the same forms and keyboard input was accepted until I did a select to copy and paste either from the clipboard or from a web page (about: Mozilla). Copy and paste still worked for other applications like kedit and kwrite. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to a form with text entry. 2. Type some text. 3. Copy and paste some text into the text box. 4. Try to edit it. Try to enter text in another form on another site. Actual Results: Mozilla would no longer accept text input from the keyboard. Expected Results: Should have continued to accept text or edits after the paste operation.
Is this a problem without multizilla?
I have no idea what changed? Today everything is working as it should with and without Multizilla and with and without the Skypilot Classic skin. Sorry. There may have been something wierd going on in the KDE. I'll mark this as resolved for now and reopen it if I observe it again, but after I do more case testing.
