Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007
When in print preview of a message, the mouse scroll quits when at the top or
bottom of the page as viewed. When the mouse is moved up to be clearly in the
body of the message the mouse works again.
So actually, the mouse is functioning, but the page view box is too much larger
than the document and one naturally moves the mouse into these non-functional
areas at the top or bottom.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Just open a message from the inbox in full screen.
2. Select "print preview".
3. Scroll down and put the mouse in the white area at bottom.
You can do the same thing at the top of a page.
Actual Results:
The mouse appears to be locked. Clicking the wheel makes no difference. Simply
moving the mouse to the document area corrects the problem.
Expected Results:
The preview box should be shrunk to the size of the document so the user will
know when his mouse is out of the document area.

This same thing happens in [almost] every Mozilla print preview window I've ever
seen, not just MailNews. I can reproduce this with
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421
Thunderbird version 0.6 (20040502) on Windows NT 5.1
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206
Firefox/0.8
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113
Well, not every print preview window... I can't get the same behavior with
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4.1) Gecko/20031114.
I'm not sure what product this should be changed to from MailNews. OS should be
switched to All. I'm not sure the summary is perfect as it stands, but I can't
improve it.
I disagree with tsimons' expected results. I think the expected results should
be "scrolling should be possibe regardless of whether the mouse cursor is over
the content of the printed document, in the page margins, or outside the page
borders."
