"font: bold" just cancels any other CSS command relative to the "font" property
It should bold the text as dictated by CSS1 standard

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.style="font:bold"
2.
3.

Actual Results:
normal text

Expected Results:
text in bold

Also in winXP
Summary: CSS : "font: bold" does not work , it simply cancels any other command → CSS : "font: bold" does not work , it simply cancels any other command
"bold" is not a valid value for "font". See

Is it is:

"p { font: bold italic large Palatino, serif }" in the same page you put here
Status: RESOLVED → UNCONFIRMED
Resolution: INVALID → ---
  p { font: bold italic large Palatino, serif }

is valid

  p { font: bold }

is not. The font-size and font-family are required in the font shorthand.

Please do not reopen without a testcase showing the bug...
