Inbox file

never clears.  My inbox is empty and my trash is empty yet the above file is
over 30M and has mail in it from the day I installed Mozilla 1.5

Note, it doesn't show up in the window.  I had to manually trash the file to get
rid of it.

Would have expected this file to update when quiting Mozilla.

you have to either compact the INBOX (right click, compact this folder), or
compact all your pop3 folders (File | Compact Folders) or set the preference
that makes us automatically compact folders when a certain amount of space is
wasted (Edit | Preferences | Mail & Newsgroup Settings| Disk Space) compact
folders when it will save over XX KB
