User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Prob 1: Yahoo chat, if you are in a chat room (running under java) and you want to change rooms you cannot. Prob 2: Java, if you have a webpage running that uses java and you want to open another webpage that uses Java eg Lycos chat, the webpage chat program will not load. You can get around it by say opening IE and running Lycos chat. It works ok in IE not Firebird Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: See details section Expected Results: 1) should have allowed me to change yahoo chat rooms 2) should have allowed me to open another website that uses java while another java session is running (works fine in IE)

Hi Les, I'm afraid both those things work fine for me. I'm using Windows XP, 20031105 Firebird/0.7+. Maybe something's been fixed between your official release version and the later nightlies, so it might be worth downloading a later version just to check. Other than that, is it possible that your version of Java is old? It might be worth removing all versions of Java on your computer using add/remove programs, then installing the latest Sun version from www.java.com.
