22602 - URL link display fails within <SPAN> tag

Status: VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 21186

** Observed with M12 Win32 release build **

1. Go to the above serach engine site. (Not essential but
   you can set View | Character Set | Multibye |Japanese (EUC-JP)
   if you want see correct Japanes display.)
2. Just type in some search string, e.g. thang, and then
   click the submit button at the right end of the input
   field.
3. Now you get the results. But none of results captions
   have URL link underlined and available for clicking on it.

I'll attach one typical result line isolated from this particular
search engine site. The problem seems to be that we are not
creating a clickable link when the description is enclosed
within a SPAN tag.

Save the attachemtn as "spantag.html" and compare display
between Mozilla and Comm 4.71.

4.71 has no problem showing the URL links for the search results
on this search engine site. And you will see a correct display
of the attached file also.

Sorry. The first attachment contained extraneous stuff not
needed for this test case. The second example I uploaded
is better and clearer. Save this one as spantag2.html
and compare the display between Mozilla and Comm 4.71.

This is a DUP of bug #21186 and is fixed in Dec 22nd build (1999122208).
