User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031030 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031030 When I try to download an OpenOffice/StarOffice file with Mozilla, the file gets displayed directly into Mozilla, in all its zipped glory. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load up Mozilla and to download: http://davinci.sourceforge.net/davinci-draft-0.1.sxw 2. Notice what happens Actual Results: The zipped (binary) file is displayed in the Mozilla window. Expected Results: Given you the "Save File As..." download box.

True, but doesn't Mozilla check for some known extentions, e.g., EXE, PDF, tgz, etc for downloading? --Taj

If you just click on a link? Absolutely not. We go with what the server says the file is, as we're supposed to.

Is this still a problem after bug 220807 were fixed?

No, it's not. Brings up helper app dialog now.
