I believe that it can be fixed by disabling right and left click in the
following section of the code:

/**
 * Mouse event
 */

struct nsMouseEvent : public nsInputEvent {
                /// The number of mouse clicks
    PRUint32        clickCount;
                /// Special return code for MOUSE_ACTIVATE to signal
                /// if the target accepts activation (1), or denies it (0)
    PRBool          acceptActivation;
};

It is in the file nsGUIEvent.h

Not sure if the is the exact fix, but it seems as though it should work.

Or in nsIMouseListener.h if you place something such as

On RightClick

if(LEFTClick=True)
  RIGHTClick=False;
Is this an issue in a _recent_ Mozilla build?

It is with 1.5, and 1.2.1. Those are the only 2 versions I have running

When left & right click a link the cursor turns to a + with a line on the top
and left. When I hit the Esc button twice Moz returns to normal. LInux 2003120305

In my GTK2/xft build it follows the link once I release the buttons and leaves
the right click menu up untill I click somewhere else.

Comment #4 looks a bit like bug 114863, which asks for right click to be
disabled when the left mouse button is down.
This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
