The status updates used to be linked from http://www.mozilla.org/ but are no more.
They should pop up either there or on http://www.mozilla.org/developer/, IMHO.
I don't think having the status updates linked to from the front page meshes
well with the new end user focus of the site. However, having the summary of the
latest update on http://www.mozilla.org/news.html or
http://www.mozilla.org/developer/ might be an idea.
