226608 - Starts to retrieve mail, but never finishes. Subsequent attempts get message that folder is still being processed

When I try to download e-mail, it shows the number of e-mails that are on the
server, then nothing else happens.  When I click the Get Mail button again it
tells me that the folder is already being processed and can't proceed.  No
matter how long I wait, it never downloads the messages.  Compressing the folder
has no effect.

Sounds like what I had. I is some e-mail that mozilla is having problem with.
You need to find what the e-mail is and not it get and it should work again.

Reporter, are you sure you have all the server settings correct?  SSL or not,
etc.?  Are you using a proxy?  Is this POP3 or IMAP?

It turns out that 2 Pay Pal viruses had that mail queue blocked.  Sorry for the
