User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 'Aight. I just had a random brainfart concerning the issue with the current Mozilla on the main page not having a text link like the development versions do. Right now the headline reads "Mozilla 1.5", the only link is the button on the left with the big M, right? Now, making the headline would most certainly look like ****. So, to keep it in line with the styling of the tech previews, why not just rename the headline to something more general like "Mozilla Application Suite", or "Latest Stable", or "Latest Release", or whatever and put "Mozilla 1.5" as a text link in the box, just the way you did it with the tech previews? Anything would be better than having no text link at all - especially with the only link being an icon which does not look like a link and does not visually respond to user interaction, like a link would do (color change, border, anything, actually), which is a definite usability issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Confirmed RFE.

Well, the current %%MOZILLA-STABLE-VERSION%% that we see in CVS is pretty generic ;). I'm not sure how to do this to make it look right, but I made the changes to say "Mozilla Application Suite" in place of "Mozilla 1.*" and added a link below it. I can't check into /index.html, and I wouldn't check this in anyway until somebody else verifies this is what it should look like.
