User-Agent: Opera/7.23 (X11; Linux i686; U) [en] Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 It would be a good idea to implement a feature that allows to create a filter rule which desides if new mail triggers a new mail notification or not. Besides that it would be very useful to have an option to set/unset mail notification for junk mail. It is very anoying to have a mail notification for every 5 minutes, when it's just junk mail that I will not read anyway. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N/A Actual Results: N/A Expected Results: N/A N/A

Please note that current 1.6 nightlies already have a fix in place which suppress notification for mail classified as junk; see bug 189289. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 11040 ***
