226785 - when opening a new mime-type, "open with" will not let me select most applications

In particular, it will not allow me to open the ZopeEdit.App, BBEdit or any other .app from 
the MacosX file dialog.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to a zope installation running external editor
2. choose a document to edit
3. try to choose an 'other' app to edit with.

Actual Results:  
nothing

Expected Results:  
it should allow me to pick an application.

this works on Mozilla but not firebird.  Minor, but completely limits the ability to use 
external helper apps
