User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031130
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031130

After installing Mozilla 1.5, and later 1.6 nightly versions, some my.yahoo
services are not available to me to use even when I'm logged in correctly to the
main page of my.yahoo.com . Whenever I want to access some services (such as
finance), the site keeps asking me to login, but then doesn't accept the login,
claiming that cookies were rejected. I'll attach a screenshot as well. When
proxy is disabled, there is no problem using these services.

I tried this with a mozilla night from Sep-2003 (1.5b), and there was no problem
with it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.login to my.yahoo.com
2.Click on a stock portfolio title
Actual Results:
The site requests that the user login again. Then it doesn't accept the login
(See attachment).

Expected Results:
The login page should not have been displayed, as the user already logged in to
my.yahoo.com. The stock portfolio page should have been displayed.

By the way, the browser is set to accept all cookies.
*** Bug 227218 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Please do the following:

1) check that you're not blocking cookies from the site (the 'cookie sites' tab
under Tools->Cookie Manager)

2) if the above look okay, generate a cookie log for the site (instructions for
windows can be found at http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=193951#c1,
same idea on linux), and attach it here.

thanks!
I reproduced it and will attach the log. I'll also attach the log of a
successfull try (when proxy was disabled). It seems that mozilla always
send/accepts cookies, but they somehow don't get to the server.

With firefox 2.0 can't login to some pages (mdaemon worldclient for example) through proxy.
Tried to create a cookie.log file as it says in #193951 but the page keeps in "loading.." and the .log file is empty.

Works with IE6-IE7...
