User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7
Open http://www.saxobank.com/. The page is havily MS-specific with Java and
Javascript. It uses frames. When the main frame is loaded the memory usage
quickly goes from 20M to about 40M, 100% of CPU is taken. The browser appears
hung for indefinitely long time taking 100% of CPU time, memory slowly goes up
(seen as much as 90M). When the browser window is closed an access violation in
JVM occures.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open http://www.saxobank.com/ with Java and Javascript enabled
2. see browser hang
3. close browser window and observe the GPF
Actual Results:
Browser died, taking up all open Mozilla windows (since they run in the same
process), including this window, where I was reporting the bug. So I had to type
the report again.
Expected Results:
It should not have died (duh!)

MultiZilla/1.5.0.4e
The initial load took some time for all of that junk to come up (wow, what a
mess of coding!). However, some of the Java stuff didn't load all the way
(common problem with the OS/2 Java 1.3.1 plug-in). Upon clicking reload, I saw
the symptooms described, and had to actually kill the Mozilla process.
While Mozilla should probably be more tolerant of poorly scripted pages, there
is simply no excuse for coding a page as heavily as that one. I think the
webmaster there deserves a rather strong email.

The problem is less severe now, but still persists:
1. Start a new Firefox process
1. Open http://www.saxobank.com/ (it will redirect to another page)
2. Wait until the page rendered as much as possible. The browser takes up all
available CPU for indefinitely long time. The "loading" indicator never stops.
The UI remains responsive.
3. Close Firefox window.
4. There two possible continuations, probably depending on how long you wait
until closing the window:
a. The browser window closes, but the firefox process remains forever.
b. The browser crashes
Stack trace shows loops.

Similar symptoms for the following website: (though it's not clear if it's the
same root problem or not.) In all cases, these sites work fine with mozilla 1.7 FCS.

paytrust uses javascript. I should also say I'm using Windows XP Pro. There's
another site with the same symptom, if I can find it again, I'll post it here too.

A separate issue - I cannot uninstall the extension
