Although there is a neat feature 'Tools'-'Run filters on folder' in Thunderbird.
Thunderbird should also allow a 'Run All Filters'. This functionality runs ALL
FILTERS on ALL FOLDERS and subfolders.

It would also be great if there were toolbar buttons for "run filters on folder"
and "run all filters".
Or better yet, it would be nice to have an option to have filters attached to specific folders, not just e-mail accounts. The filters would be run each time one starts a session, or maybe at regular intervals.
I agree. I hate running all filters on one folder at a time after fixing a filter.

perhaps could be implemented via 398757
OS: Windows XP → All
Hardware: PC → All
Summary: Run Filters on all folders and sub-folders → Run All Filters on all folders and sub-folders
This request is similar to Bug 294632, and would be solved if the functionality
suggested in that report were to be implemented.
