User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Used an incorrect password to my SMTP and POP3 servers. The password manager remembered the password (or seemed to), as the corresponding checkbox was selected. When the password was changed (on the server), Mozilla Mail prompted me for the new password. Changed it accordingly, but the server came back saying the password was still invalid. The result was I got locked out of my account. So I tried to delete the password using the password manager. There were dozens of mailbox:// entries. I tried to remove them, one at a time, with no luck. I selected them all and tried to remove them. This also crashed Mozilla (browser and mail client). Finally, I tried clicking the "Remove All" button, which wound up crashing everything, again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect to a mail server. 2. Put in an incorrect password (be sure to get Password Manager to remember it!). 3. Change the password on the mail server. 4. Check for new mail and/or send a new message. 5. Type in the new password. 6. Try and remove the mailbox:// passwords using Password Manager. Actual Results: Mozilla Mail and Mozilla Browser components hung (they didn't crash or core dump). Looks like an infinite loop somewhere. Expected Results: Deleted the mailbox:// passwords. Then allowed me to send the new password and continue with my pleasant e-mail-bound existance. It might only be a problem with POP3, or only a problem with SMTP. But either way, I am not able to delete the passwords via the password manager. I will try scooping them out of the corresponding files, directly, if possible.
