I cant change preferences for Calendar! I run up the preferences dialog, but
cant change anything. I can only close the dialog.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run up the preferences dialog
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
Nothing. I just cant do nothing in the dialog.

Expected Results:  
Edit the preferences

Same for me.
This is my configuration:
- Mozilla Firebird 0.7 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.5) 
Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7)
- Windows XP

Another bug (which may be related to this one) is that I 
cannot exit the calendar Using the menu option "File -> Exit".
The only way to close the calendar is by closing firebird
(which opened the calendar)
or by clicking on the cross at the top right corner of the calendar window

bug 229278 is a duplicate of this bug. This problem persists in the Jan 9th
release of Calendar. Confirming.

Guy, you are correct about the exit bug. I have not found a reported instance of
that issue, perhaps you should submit it (after looking thouroughly for another
bug report of course; I didn't look that long.)

Just a note that with the Jan 9th XPI on Firebird you can change your calendar
preferences from the extensions section:
In Firebird, go to Tools->Extensions, click on calendar, then click on
"settings" ( or "options" ).

Error repeated thus:

Firebird 0.7 / Calendar 2004010914-cal / Windows XP (V5.1 Build2600)

Access via the Firebird>Tools>Options>Extensions as indicated in this thread
does allow SOME settings to be set.

It does not access all "Options" which should be accessible from
Calendar>Edit>Preferences?

The preferences dialog worksforme.  I think this bug just slipped through
without getting marked resolved.  Reporter, if you are still experiencing this
bug, you can re-open it, but be sure to include all of the relevant information
(especially version number).
