User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 This is a request for a fairly large and complicated set of new features. The frequency with which it would be helpful is low, but there are some cases where it would be great. In the page info window on the Links tab, it would be helpful if 1. clicking on the column headers sorted the list by that column. 2. there was a column available for the file extension of the file to which the link points 3. there were additional columns for the information provided about the link by and HTTP "HEAD" request, like file size, date modified, mime type, etc. (I don't know how practical this is.) 4. once one or more links were selected it was possible to: 4a. Open selected links in tabs 4b. Save selected links to disk 4c. Copy selected URLs in cut and paste buffer To make the argument for why this would be helpful, here is a use case for it that I jsut encountered: On this page: http://gandalf.psych.umn.edu/~kersten/kersten-lab/courses/Psy5038WF2003/5038Syllabus.html I want to download all the Mathematica notebook files. There are about 30 of them, so doing manually requires some somewhat time-consuming effort. With the propose fuinctions, the user could open the links pane of the page info window, sort by file extension, select all the .nb files and choose "save selected links to disk", then work on something else while waiting. Thanks for all the work that has gone in to Firebird and Mozilla in general. It is great product and has completely won me over. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Summary: Expanded ability to operate on many links at once → Enhancements to Page Info > Links for operating on many links at once
This is too complex and should be wonrfix
Per conversation with Daniel Brooks, I'm moving this over to Browser Page Info. As Jesse pointed out, most of these already have been addressed in other bugs, with the exception of request 2, so I'm updating the summary to reflect that this bug is only for that. Reporter, in the future, if you have more than one suggestion, please file separate bugs for each. Thanks.

MASS-CHANGE: This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state. If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way. If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar). If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state. Query tag for this change: mass-UNCONFIRM-20090614
