User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 When browsing a page using a fixed height and width block with overflow set to auto, using the mouse wheel with the cursor over the block scrolls the entire page. The expected behaviour would be to scroll the contents of the block, since in all other respects the block looks and acts like an IFRAME. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/ 2. Hover the cursor over the box containing the list of extensions. 3. Roll the mouse wheel. Actual Results: The entire page scrolls. Expected Results: The contents of the box should have scrolled.
This is a pet peeve, so I'm ?'ing the blocking 0.8
Flags: blocking0.8?
behaviour exists in Mozilla as well. Not sure whether its a layout/content issue or something else, moving to Browser for triage
