I opened the mail and newsgroups client and retrieved my new messages.  A second
later my new messages disappeared when the client finished compressing my folders

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  have a lot of messages in your folders so the compression process take a
long time to complete
2.  open the mail client
3.  while the compression process is running, retrieve your new mail

Actual Results:  
any new messages which were downloaded disappear

Expected Results:  
retain my newly downloaded messages

I am using the modern theme.  mozilla 1.4 running on HP-UX B.11.00 using
movemail.  All of my mail exists in localhost folder.  I have around 170 megs
consumed by mail, with 100 megs in my sent mail folder.

you need to download 1.6b (or maybe 1.5) - I believe this has been fixed since 1.4
