In the Tools > Options > Advanced dialog, scrolling with the mouse wheel doesn't
work. Surprisingly, checking or unchecking "Use smooth scrolling" makes it start
working there, with the *previous* setting.

(In the browser itself, the mouse wheel works fine.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Tools > Options > Advanced.
2. Try to scroll with the mouse wheel -- it doesn't work.
3. If "Use smooth scrolling" was unchecked, check it -- now the mouse wheel
scrolls non-smoothly!
If "Use smooth scrolling" was checked, uncheck it -- now the mouse wheel scrolls
smoothly.
4. Close Advanced Options and go back -- now the mouse wheel does nothing again.




I'm using the latest Firebird GTK2 nightly on Fedora Core 1.
Oh, this is also true in Thunderbird's Advanced Options dialog. I don't know how
much code is shared between them -- should I file a separate bug?
its actually more that an element has to have focus to allow the mouse scrolling
to work, and its not localized to there, its an overall issue with XUL afaik

that being said, this is probably a dupe

don't file a separate bug please, its absolutely the same, it also happens in
the themes pane (the preview section) and other places.  The fix for one would
fix them all

I still need to look for a dupe too :(
