User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031210
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031210

http://www.mozilla.org/news.rdf is set to incorrect mime type. Now it's
text/plain. At least aggreg8 (www.aggreg8.net) complains about and refuses to
display it. I haven't tried other rss feed readers.
AFAIK the RSS feed should have text/xml type.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install aggreg8 RSS feed reader.
2. Subscribe to http://www.mozilla.org/news.rdf.
3. Try to read it in aggreg8. BOOM! :)

Actual Results:
aggreg8 complains the following:
----
There was an error parsing the RSS feed.
Aggreg8 did not recognise your feed as valid XML. Probable cause of this is
incorrect content/mime type. The "Content-Type" of this feed is : text/plain
http://www.mozilla.org/news.rdf
----

Expected Results:
Set the RSS feed (http://www.mozilla.org/news.rdf) "Content-Type" to text/xml.
Fixed.

.rdf files are now served with mime type application/rdf+xml

Is "application/rdf+xml" the right type? E.g. I read the feeds below on daily
basis. And all of them are served as "text/xml".

http://www.aggreg8.net/Updates/rss.php
http://www.cert.org/channels/certcc.rdf
http://msdn.microsoft.com/security/rss.xml
http://www.newsforge.com/reports.rss
http://slashdot.org/index.rss
http://www.mozillazine.org/contents.rdf
http://www.securityfocus.com/rss/news.xml
http://www.newsforge.com/newsvac.rss
http://www.securityfocus.com/rss/vulnerabilities.xml
http://www.osnews.com/files/recent.rdf
http://www.muselog.net/feeds/google_scitech.xml

  Even more, RFC3032 states:
----
  Content-type: application/rdf+xml

   <?xml version="1.0" ?>

RDF documents identified using this MIME type are XML documents whose
content describes metadata, as defined by [RDF]. As a format based
on XML, RDF documents SHOULD use the '+xml' suffix convention in
their MIME content-type identifier. However, no content type has yet
been registered for RDF and so this media type should not be used
until such registration has been completed.
----

I could be wrong (if so, correct me), but "application/rdf+xml" is not yet
registered type. Thus, theoretically there's no application that could
understand it.
aggreg8 (sorry, I haven't provided the URL for it previously, which is
http://www.aggreg8.net) is no exception. Now, instead of complaining that it
does not understand the "Content-Type", it offers me to save the feed as file.
