User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Each time I try to download software via a button (or link) on a webpage the information page is not shown and download not started. Typically a workaround is to go via the left mousebutton on the button to the pop-up menu and save the target. Also do I have the impression that the requested page is loaded but only very shortly displayed followed by a white page with the indicator 'done' at the bottom of the screen. This problem does not appear using the Internet Explorer tool (same settings and environment). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to a internet page with a link to software to download (eg try to download Mozilla 1.6b) 2.click on the link/button of the desired software 3.nothing happens except for the display of a white page. Actual Results: white page is displayed Expected Results: show the download page with the indication that the downloading process has started (asking for target file name and location).
have you tried with a new profile ?
