It would be nice to have a summary of all outstanding events that occur within
the next couple of days (e.g. show all events for the next seven days), like it
is implemented in Ximian Evolution and Microsoft Outlook (called "executive
summary" there).

In the search pane above the calendar view, you can select "Events in the Next 7
Days" to see those events.

Marking INVALID.
