User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031015 Firebird/0.7 (aebrahim) Build Identifier: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.5/contrib/mozilla-1.5-RH8-RPMs.tar.gz For IMAP mail accounts, Mozilla always puts deleted mail in a folder named "Trash". Allow user to specify the folder name for deleted mail. I need this since I use both Outlook and Mozilla. I would like to send deleted mail to the "Deleted Items" folder where Outlook sends deleted mail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Such a feature would be nice. I am also having troubles with the trash folder or with deleting messages. I am using an IMAP account on a german email provider, where the folder names are german. The trash folder is called 'Gelöscht'. I've set the delete option to 'Move it to the trash folder' in the account settings. If i delete a message in the inbox, the message disappears in the inbox but does not appear in the 'gelöscht' (trash) folder (same on the account - disappears in the inbox but doesn't appear in the trash folder). Maybe a bug? Don't know the technical details of the imap protocol at all, is there a kind of standard for accessing the trash folder? Or is it maybe a problem at my provider?
