User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031208 Combo boxes appear white, and the text cannot be read when the background is set to black and text to white. When a drop down box is selected, the selections can be seen, but if the combo box is set as a list, only the selection can be seen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Edit > Preferences 2. Appearance > Colors 3. Set Text to White 4. Set Background to Black 5. "Use system colors" unselected 6. "Use my system colors, ignoring the colors..." selected. 7. Go to this page (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Browser) Actual Results: You wont be able to read any of the combo boxes unless you click (select) them. Expected Results: You should be able to read from the combo boxes without having to select any of the options. This is the browser with the BEST flexibility when it comes to setting the background and text colors. This is a very important feature for people with visual disabilities, if this bug is fixed, it will be very close to perfect in this feature. Thanks.
why is this in file handling? -> form controls
Assignee: file-handling → form
Component: File Handling → Layout: Form Controls
Actually, it's an nsITheme bug, so...
Assignee: form → win32
Component: Layout: Form Controls → GFX: Win32
