Restart computer, restart Mozilla and Mozilla hangs, fails to start. End Process. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Simply start Mozilla 1.6a 2. 3. Actual Results: Mozilla hangs. Try to end process, and system grinds to a halt. Unplug computer and restart. Expected Results: Loaded faster than 3 minutes If this the way Mozilla is going, Explorer is looking much better

Mozilla seems to be starting for a lot of people filing bugs over here, so something must be wrong with your installation. Can you try to start with a new profile, i.e. run c:/pathToExe/mozilla.exe -ProfileManager and when the Profile Manager comes up, select 'Manage Profiles' and the create a new profile, select it (it doesn´t get highlighted) and start. If this is working, there is something wrong in your normal profile. When did it start to not start? Right after installation? What version of Mozilla did you install (Release, nightly, zip, exe?) How did you install? ( in a new folder, or just ontop of the old one) Did you use themes and/or extensions in your previous installation? Did you install themes and/or extensions in your new installation? Do you also run Netscape7 on this computer? Simply starting 1.6a is working for me everytime, if there is no other Mozilla running.
WFM, Mozilla 1.6a, WinXP, reasonably fresh install.
Do you use Quick Launch (pref setting on the advanced pref panel)? Mozilla's startup time is approx 2 seconds for me (add 3 seconds for cold startups). What are your computer specs? How fast is it?
