Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to your personal earthlink start page.

Actual Results:  
Column 1 of 3 only is display but the work around always works.

Expected Results:  
Display columns 2 and 3 like Mozilla 1.4, IE, and Firebird do.

Some users also see this in Mozilla 1.4 and 1.3
If you want you could try with a recent nightly build from

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest/

since this problem could have been fixed by bug 215857.
