Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20031224 Camino/0.7+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20031224 Camino/0.7+

I imported my Safari bookmarks and they immediately showed up in the "Imported
Safari Bookmarks" folder on the left pane of the bookmarks window. So far so
good. Now I selected all my bookmarks folders in the BookmarksMenu folder and
moved them to my Bookmarks Menu for Camino on the left pane. The folders were
added in reverse order then what they were in Safari. For instance, I have all
my folder organized in Safari alphabetically. When I moved them to the Camino
Bookmarks Menu folder they showed up in reverse alphabetical order.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import Safari bookmarks.
2. Select all folders with the BookmarksMenu folder and drag them to the
"Bookmarks Menu" folder on the left pane.
3. The bookmarks will now be in reverse order.

Actual Results:
The bookmarks were in reverse order.

Expected Results:
The bookmarks should have been moved in the exact same order in which they were
in the previous folder.
curious, i thought we fixed this a while ago.
Target Milestone: --- → Camino0.8
I am using nightly build version 2003122403 (v0.7+).
I'm seeing this also in a trunk build from 20040105, but it's not restricted to
moving multiple bookmarks and it doesn't seem to be as simple as straight
reversal. If I drag and drop a bookmark from one location within a toolbar
folder to another location (say from the end to the middle of the folder), the
relative location of that same bookmark in that folder does not change when
viewed within bookmark manager. Moreover, the positions of bookmarks and
folders within the bookmark manager only seem vaguely related to the actual
position within the folders if viewed from the toolbar.
Argh...I should have specified that I'm seeing this on WinXP.
