229580 - When clicking "Preferances" instead of getting the pref window, I get an error

When I choose the "Preferances" option from the Edit menu I get the following
new mozilla-bin window which states the following:

XML Paring Error: Undefined Entity
Location: chrome://communicator/content/pref/pref.xul
Line Number 15, Column 1

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on edit menu
2.Click on Preferances

Actual Results:  
Got the above mentioned error msg.

Expected Results:  
Get the preferances window.

I do not use the chrome skin but rather the regular old fashioned netscape
looking one that ships with the clean install of the above mentioned mozilla ver.

Sounds like you either installed extensions or installed on top of a previous
install without uninstalling first.....

I am willing to try and uninstall it and then reinstall it, making sure any
traces are neatly cleaned.

I do however have Shockwave and JAVA installed FYI.

I will report again after performing the above.
