Personally I'd suggest we make a widget which lets you input host or port

So you'd have:

No, that's the Gopher proxy, not the port.

Not adding helpwanted since the chances are that Gopher support will be dropped before this bug can be fixed anyway.

As far as I know and remember, references to the gopher protocol was 
removed earlier (I believe it was bug #572389) this year so I'm marking 
this Resolved+Invalid.
