Buttons or HOT SPOTS in any Flash animation in a web page that doesnt recide
locally (some how it works fine in local html files) stop working and the only
way they work again is if i remove focus on the Flash Object and Give focus
back, i noticed when i click on any part of the page that isnt a object like
text for example the flash will work fine once.
So it gets a little tedius to have to click on text or something every time i
need to click on a button inside a flash animation.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. log into any webpage with lots of Flash buttons that need pressing (maybe a
flash greeting card from http://sugarqube.com/)
(the animation will recive notification only once of a click on a button and it
wont notify the flash animation again on any mouse clicking events)
2. click on any button inside the flash animation (make sure it wont close the
window or navegate anyware else)
3. repeat step 2 only to notice that when you click on any button in the flash
animation nothing will happen.
4. click on some other part of the page that isnt an object (text, white space,
etc)
5. then try the button again IT WORKS! but you will have to repeat step 4. over
and over each time you encounter a button.
Actual Results:
if the webpage isnt in the same computer i get the desired bug.
Expected Results:
fix that bug if posible ^_^

could you create a minimal test-case with a flash movie that has the features
that you want and then attach it to this bug report?
the current steps to reproduce are too generic, I don't see anything wrong at
all, so you should provide a better test-case to understand your problem.

No.
The link in your previous posts pointed to a person saying that he had problems
with flash after installing the activeX plugin:
http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/plugin.htm
Could you please add here what it does appear when you select Help->About plugins?

I was experiencing the same problem, and removing the ActiveX plugin solved the
problem.

It seems to have happened aswell for me, i removed mozilla completely all
regkeys and folders, just backed up my profile; and reinstalled fresh outa the oven.
and it works just fine!
Now to fix that darn "no data on page" and the dreaded cycle of death.
