WFM WinXP Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031230 Firebird/0.7+ Christian, can you try again with a clean profile and the latest nightly build?
WFM Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040101 Firebird/0.7+ Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040102 Firebird/0.7+ So, it seems to work fine in the latest nightlies. Original reporter, would it be possible to get you try the latest nightly?
Hm, it seems as if alternate updated their site. The bug doesn't appear any longer, the site is displayed correctly. Shall I mail alternate and ask them to give me their old source?
alternate.de indeed seem to have changed their site: The "iframe" which led to a crash was a Flash-animation. Now they display a simple, white color only "anti-animation"... Perhaps just a bug in Flash-Player? Duplicate of 185473? http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=185473 (I assume there is no way to prevent Mozilla from crashing when a plugin dies...?)
No, I have no flash-player installed. The bug appears without a flashplugin installed.
If this bug can no longer be reproduced, should it be closed?
Closing as WORKSFORME because there is currently no way to reproduce the bug. Re-open if a testcase becomes available.
