Regardless of start up setting in preferences the mail program always stats in
the Start Page.  Would prefer to start in Default inbox.

THis all started when I established a new email account and made it default.

What is your setting for General Setting and Mail Start Page in
Preferences/Mail&Newsgroups?
Does changing start page URL only work?
Did you terminate Mail&News only(browser is active) or terminate Mozilla(both
mailer and browser) after changing "Mail Start Page" option?
