User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031210 Just updated to Fedora Core 1 and now Mozilla immediately crashes whenever I load http://www.megatokyo.com. This is version 1.5 and 1.6b (installed from RPMS on ftp.mozilla.org). Talkback running under 1.5 just locked up and I don't seem to have it at all anymore under 1.6b so no trace (I'd be happy to generate one if told how). Note it also crashes on http://white.sakura.ne.jp/~piro (home page of Tabbed Browser Extension - I have uninstalled the extension to see if it was responsible - it was not). I was hoping this was bug 226286, but that bug is fixed by 1.6b and I still have the problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Fixed typo in summary so searches will find this bug.
Summary: Crashes viewing Megatokya → Crashes viewing Megatokyo
can you attach a stacktrace from your 1.6b build ? if you're using the standard mozilla startup script, just do % mozilla -g -d gdb (gdb) run [wait for mozilla to crash] (gdb) bt (attach the output from "bt" via "create a new attachment")
I couldn't get the RPM build to debug properly so I grabbed the latest nightly (04-01-06). I couldn't make it crash on either of the pages, even if I installed plugins. Looks like this might already be fixed. I'll mark this WORKSFORME and reopen if the bug still occurs in the next release.
