RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 221792

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6b) Gecko/20031221 Firebird/0.7+ (MozJF)
Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.5a (20040105)

When you have an IMAP Account and setup various folders and enabled checking in
them automatically and you hit "Get Mail" in Thunderbird then the status bar
says: "There are no new messages" even if it has not checked all folders for new
mail yet!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an IMAP Account and load it in (best to have several folders on the
account), mark all of them "Check this folder for new messages". Close TB.
2. Send some mails that will be delivered to some of the folders more to the
bottom of the account (this makes the effect better visible). (Use some other
mailer)
3. Open TB and hit "Get Mail". The status line will say: "..no new messages" and
later will find some.

Expected Results:
Mozilla Thunderbird should print in the status bar: "Checking <folder> on
<imap-server>..." for every folder that is being checked and when finished print
the result (Either: "You have received x new messages" or "There are no new
messages")

I am using Smoke Theme but tested with default Theme as well.
The biff trick in the duped-to bug works for me, try it.

yes that does the trick. Should be included in the standard pref.js though.
